Weird stuff at open gym!

In other news, magnetic gorillapod + suction cup, iPhone 4, iMovie and the updated PicPosterous rocks :) Download the full to check
Trying out ReelDirector this time on the iPhone 4 - slower than iMovie but a lot more control, wish I could get slow-motion though. Saved and uploaded through the phone via PicPosterous, should be close to HD quality. Gets compressed twice though which kills the motion, Apple needs to hurry up and allow better saving and exporting for photos and video!
The new phone shoots some rather incredible video (download through Posterous to see the actual quality) but iMovie is pretty underwhelming to edit with - especially since you still need to sync to the computer to grab the full quality file.
Before the lab wall was resurfaced and the wall railing and extra ledge were added in I got the idea to try this horrendous cat to cat. It's a wider than 90 degree angle to a small 2x4 ledge and was the first really annoying challenge that took more than one day to get. Like most video I have it's been waiting around to be edited for awhile - enjoy.
Sound on :)
A mix of injuries and an overload of computer work recently threw my training way out of whack. Still trying to stretch as much as I can while now working on gymnastics presses and simple jumps to get back into things.
With the rope in the gym, about 9' up. Was working on different bailing scenarios, didn't realize how hard it actually is to grab the line when failing - it moves away! No pads beneath so just working on fear, balance, and catching the line. No steps yet.
Had a really hard time securing a good roof jump location so they ended up with this guy. 16 across and possibly 18 down - we'll need to pad the shit out of it :(
Ended up being about 15 feet down and we used a lot of padding and three stunt safeties. Did three jumps and it went really well, not as scary as I thought it would be.
